My name is Chad and this page is about me. I live in Reading, PA, and I have been collecting beer and brewery advertising collectibles since 2012 and I love every minute of it.  I buy, sell, and trade in PA beer collectibles. I mainly collect from breweries local to my hometown like Old Reading, Sunshine, Deppen, Lauer, Mount Carbon, Mount Carmel, and Yuengling. Recently I’ve been expressing interest in other old brewery collectibles and general advertising too. I’ve been featured in local newspaper articles about my breweriana collection; click here to view the article. A portion of my collection has also been used in the Adam Sandler Netflix movie “Hustle“.

I find most of my pieces through auctions, flea markets, yard sales, word-of-mouth, other collectors and dealers, and through this website.  My collection has grown considerably in the past year and I am always on the lookout for new pieces to add to my collection. I created this website as a way to grow my collection as well as use it as a resource for other collectors in the breweriana and advertising collectible community.  Be sure to check back often as I update brewaf.com regularly. This website is a labor of love!

If you have any items you would like to contact me about or would just like to chat about, please feel free to contact me anytime and I will get back to you shortly.

Thanks for looking!

During my time as a Miller beer distributor, I accumulated a number of related Miller Beer items. When I finally gave up on my dream of a beer-themed Man Cave, I went to the internet to locate a possible resource to sell my collection. Chad Campbell looked at the items and quickly made me a very reasonable offer. It was great being able to sell all the material at one time. Dealing with Chad could not have been easier or more pleasant. I highly recommend him!

My wife’s family operated the Brewery Inn at 9th & Laurel in Reading for 25 years. When the Inn closed my wife and I got a lot of the old advertising from Reading and Sunshine that was stored in the attic and basement of the bar. I held onto it for a while but recently decided to sell it. Chad was great to work with when we wanted to sell our items.  His knowledge and interest in local beer collectibles were very impressive.  We are glad these items will go to others who can enjoy them and we were treated fairly by Chad.  We highly recommend him to other families and collectors.

sunshine beer clock

Bruce

Chad was a real pleasure to work with; I found his website through a google search to see if a Sunshine Beer Clock that I had would be worth anything. I filled out a contact form on his website and he was quick to respond. He told me about the clock and the history of the manufacturer as well as the brewery. He bought the clock from me at a fair price. If I ever come across anything else beer-related I will be sure to contact him again. Thanks a lot, Chad and I hope our paths cross again in the future.

old reading beer cone top can

I sold Chad an Old Reading J-Spout Cone Top Beer Can that my ex-boyfriend found in a wall of an old house. Chad was very knowledgeable about the can and the brewery it came from. He was fair with what he offered me and was very patient even before we made a deal as well as leading up to the transaction. I’m very happy to have been able to sell Chad my can and I will be sure to call him if I ever come across anything else antique beer-related.

I was referred to Chad by another local antique dealer. I wasn’t interested in selling anything but rather interested in buying an old Neuweiler Ashtray similar to the one my father gave to my mother back in the old days.  The antique dealer told me “If Chad can’t find it, then you won’t find it”, so I immediately called Chad.  He was very nice to work with and said he thought he could find me one.  Within 2 weeks I got a call from Chad, he had found one for me!  I met up with him a few days later; he was very fair on his price and was happy to have been able to help me out with this.  I will definitely keep him in mind if I ever come across any other old beer advertising.
