Lee See Art Sign were created by a sign manufacturer by the name of Leyse Aluminum Co. located in Kewaunee, WI. The Leyse Aluminum Company not only made tin embossed beer Lee See Art Sign advertisement signs but also cookware as well. They were famous for making light and packable aluminum camping cookware during the 1950’s era. Even to this day the cookware is highly collectible.
The Lee-See Art Sign Leyse Aluminum Company didn’t have that many brewery contracts but the ones they did have they made were exceptional beer and brewery advertising signs. All of which were made of thin tin stock sometimes with embossed lettering and graphics usually incorporation single and double color designs. Some of the most well known and sought after signs are known as button signs.
