Kewaunee, WI
Lee See Art Sign was created by a sign manufacturer by the name of Leyse Aluminum Co. located in Kewaunee, WI.  The Leyse Aluminum Company not only made aluminum Lee See Art Sign advertisement signs but also cookware as well. They were famous for making light and packable aluminum camping cookware during the 1950s era. Even to this day, their cookware is highly collectible.

The Leyse Aluminum Company didn’t have that many brewery contracts but the ones they did have they made were exceptional beer and brewery advertising signs.  All of these were made of thin tin stock sometimes with embossed lettering and graphics usually incorporating one and two-color designs. Some of the most well-known and sought-after signs are known as button signs.

The Leyse Aluminum Co. made various beer signs for breweries like Barbey’s Inc., Sunshine, Mount Carbon, Kaier’s, Boyertown, Kuebler, Neuweiler, Fort Pitt, Daeufer-Lieberman, Mauch Chunk, Alt Heidelberg, Potosi, Kingsbury, Leinenkugel, Atlantic, Free State, Richbrau, Springfield, Michigan, Milwaukee, Marshfield, Sunrise, Monarch, Pickwick Ale, Sunrise, Lucky, Rainier, Olympia, and Kingsbury just to name a few.
