Los Angeles, CA
The RR Kellog Inc Sign Manufacturing Company operated out of the Los Angeles, CA area from the late 1930’s and into the late 1940’s. The RR Kellogg Inc sign manufacturing company had several different names and location throughout the Los Angeles area; among these were Gilbert Jackson and Glasstube Products Company. Their most popular sign that they produced were Tube-O-Lite “Bubbler” Signs.  These bubbler signs consisted of back-lite lighted signs with glass tubes filled with liquid. The light bulbs would heat the liquid in side the tubes and cause them to bubble and move hence the name “bubblers”. The other sign company that was making bubbler signs at the time was Biolite Inc. located in New York, NY.

RR Kellog Inc created a wide variety of advertising signs for various industries and companies.  They made various tube-o-lite bubbler signs for breweries like General Brewing Company, Regal Brewing Company, Leinenkugel Brewing Company, Blatz Brewery, Strohs Brewery, and Acme Brewing Company just to name a few.

Below are a few examples of Tube-O-Lite Bubbler signs:
