Here is a pair of Columbia Beer Tin Calendar Signs from the Columbia Brewing Company located in Shenandoah, PA. Both of these Columbia Beer Tin Calendar Signs are from the 1940’s era and are in excellent condition for their age with the exception that they are both missing their original calendar pads.
These Columbia Beer Calendar Signs were made by the Permanent Sign and Display Company located in Reading PA. They are made of tin metal with a thin celluloid plastic wrapped over the front. The celluloid plastic is what has the graphics printed on it.
Of the two variations of these Columbia Beer Signs the green one is harder to find then the red one especially in this condition. I do plan to reproduce some calendar pads on these signs at some point just for display.
