Here are a Deppen Queen Quality Beer Sign from the Deppen Brewing Company located in Reading, PA. This Deppen Beer Sign is from the early 1900’s era and is in excellent condition for it’s age.
This pre-prohibition era Deppen Beer Corner Signs was made by the Donaldson Art Sign Company located in Covington, KY. The sign is made of a wooden body with a metal riveted frame around a reverse-painted glass face. Signs like these would have been hung on a wooden post outside of a hotel or tavern entrance advertising Deppen Beer.
There are actually 2 variations of this Deppen Beer Glass Corner Sign. The other variation incorporates the graphics of large text that reads “Deppen Brewing Company Beer” with the with the image of a stag deer at the top. Click here to view the other variation from my collection.
