Here is a Dubois Hahnes Porter Sign from the Dubois Brewing Company located in Dubois, PA.  This Dubois Hahnes Porter Sign is pre-prohibition era from the early 1900’s and is in good condition for it’s age.

This Dubois Beer Vitrolite Sign was made to advertise one of the brewery’s flagship beers known as Hahne’s Porter.  The graphics on this sign represent an upside-down horseshoe with a hops leaves and hops cones ion the top and bottom.  It even displays the breweries modo and tagline that they were using at the time that reads “Drink Down All Unkindness”.

This sign is made of painted vitrolite milk glass and was made by the vitrolite Meyercord Co. located in Chicago, IL.  Originally the sign would have been mounted in a frame and hung on the wall but unfortunately the original frame is missing.  There is also a larger variation of this sign in the form of a large flat vitrolite panel; click here to view that sign.
