Here is a Esslingers Beer Truck Sign from the Esslinger Brewing Company located in Philadelphia, PA. This Esslingen’s Beer Sign is from the 1940’s era and is in very good condition for it’s age. From looking at the condition on the face of this Esslinger Beer Sign; I believe it was probably displayed above a dart board at one time, it still displays very well though.
This Esslinger Sign is approximately 10″ wide and is made of a composite material mounted on a wooden base. Composite signs like this were very popular during the time in-lite of the metal shortages of WWII. The graphics on this Esslinger Sign show the Esslinger Brewery’s mascot “Kingpin” (also known as “Little Man”) driving an Esslinger Brewery Beer Delivery Truck.
