Here is a Gibbons Ale Ball Tap Knob from the Lion Brewing Company located in Wilkes-Barre, PA. This Gibbons Ale Ball Tap Knob is from the 1940’s era and is in excellent condition for it’s age. It has a white and green lettered porcelain enamel face with a metal chromed body. The face of the tap knob does have a few light scratches from daily use.
There are actually 3 variations of this gibbons ball tap knob known to exist. The other 2 variations are in different colors and read “Gibbons Beer” in red and “Gibbons Porter”in brown, all of which in the same block lettered font.
