Here is a Gibbons Ale Porcelain Sign from the Lion Brewing Company located in Wilkes-Barre, PA. This Gibbons Ale Sign is from the 1930’s era and is in excellent condition for it’s age.
Originally this Gibbons Beer Sign would have been double sided mounted with neon lettering and displayed outside of a bar or beer distributor to advertise Gibbon’s Ale. The sign is approximately 36″ X 20″ and is made of porcelain enamel with 4 neon ports (holes) for the neon lettering to go in and out of. I do plan to have a new body build and the neon lettering restored to this sign in the near future so it can be better displayed in my personal collection.
