Here is a Hanleys Peerless Ale Neon Sign from the James Hanley Brewing Company located in Providence, RI.  This Hanleys Peerless Ale Neon Sign is dated from 1937 and is in excellent condition for it’s age.

This Hanleys Peerless Ale Neon Sign was made by the Lumin-Art Display Company located in Waterbury, CT.  The sign itself is made of neon tube and die-cut metal lettering mounted on top of a backlit metal body with a piece of reverse-painted glass graphic reading “Peerless Ale” on the front base.  This Hanley’s Ale Sign would have been made to be displayed on the bar back or displayed in a window of a tavern or distributor to advertise Hanley’s Peerless Ale to patrons.  Hanleys Peerless Ale was one of the breweries flagship beers produced between 1934 up until 1957 when the brewery closed.
