Here is an Old Reading Beer Lighted Sign from the Old Reading Brewing Company located in Reading, PA. This Old Reading Beer Lighted Sign is from the 1940’s era and is in excellent condition for it’s age.
It is made of an painted wood grain metal face with colored plastic and a lighted can with 2 yellow florescent bulbs on the inside. There are actually 2 variations of this Old Reading Beer Sign. One variation is single sided with yellow and green lights like the one shown here; while the other is double sided with red and white lights. The double sided variation tends to be the harder variation to find.
Signs like this one are getting harder and harder to come by these days. I’m very happy to have this one in my collection!
