Here is an Old Reading Beer Tan Crowntainer beer can from the Old Reading Brewing Company located in Reading, PA. There are actually 2 variations of this crowntainer, one is tan and one in silver. I’ve heard that the silver crowntainer variation is the harder one to find of the 2 variations. In my personal opinion they are both hard to find in any condition and even hard to find one that’s clean.
This Old Reading Beer Tan Crowntainer is in very good condition considering how old it is; I’d date this can probably from the 1940’s era. An Old Reading Beer Tan Crowntainer like this one are pretty hard to find in any condition these days; I’m very happy to have it in my collection although I wouldn’t mind finding one in a bit nicer condition to upgrade my current one.
