Old Shay Beer and Old Shay Ale was one of the flagship beers produced by the Fort Pitt Brewery from 1939 up until the brewery closed in 1957.
This Old Shay Beer Ale Lighted Sign was made by the Ohio Advertising Display Company located in Cincinnati, OH; this style of sign is known as a Fire Ball Model Streamliner. It is approximately 24″ wide and is made of a reverse-painted glass face mounted in a backlit metal body. When lit the sign gives off a golden yellow glow which is very eye catching.
