Here is an Ortliebs Lager Beer Bullet Light Sign from the Henry F. Ortlieb Brewing Company located in Philadelphia, PA. This Ortliebs Beer Bullet Light is from the 1940’s era and is in excellent condition for it’s age.
This sign was made by the Cincinnati Advertising Display Company located in Cincinnati, OH. These sign were produced under the name Blue Ribbon Displays and are also known as bullet lights and shield lights from the shape of the glass on the signs. This Ortliebs Bullet Sign is made of a pieces of curved reverse-painted milk glass lens mounted to a plastic base.
