Here is a Schmidt’s Beer Ale Glass Sign from the C. Schmidt & Sons Brewing Company located in Philadelphia, PA. This Schmidt’s Beer Ale Glass Sign is from the 1940’s era and is in excellent condition for it’s age. This sign is made out of glass that has been reverse-painted with a cardboard backer and a brass chain hanger on the back. The sign is approximately 12″ X 18″ which is pretty big for a glass sign like this.
This sign was made by the Beeco Inc. Sign Company located in Chicago, IL. Beeco Inc. was well known at the time for producing a variety of eye-catching reverse-painted glass signs for breweries across the United States.
