Here is a Small Sunshine Porcelain Sign from the Sunshine Brewing Company located in Reading, PA. This sign was used to advertise Sunshine Premium Beer and was either mounted on the sides of trolley cars or would have been mounted to cooler doors; I’ve heard of these signs being used both ways. This small sign is about 6″ high by 16″ wide, and is made of steel with a baked porcelain enamel finish.
This sign is in excellent condition for it’s age with only a few imperfections like porcelain chipping. It does look like the Northeast Distributing Company beer distributor that previously owned this sign may have repurposed the back of the sign. All in all a it’s a very good piece and pretty hard to find in any condition.
