Here is a Stegmaier’s Gold Metal Beer Sign from the Stegmaier Brewing Company located in Wilkes-Barre, PA. This Stegmaier’s Gold Metal Beer Sign is from the 1940’s era and is in excellent condition for it’s age. The tagline reads “We Recommend Stegmaier’s Gold Metal Beer”. The “Gold Metal Beer” line was used for a long time through the brewery’s marketing efforts.
This sign was made by the American Engraving Company located it Philadelphia, PA. It is made of a maroon colored lucite plastic with embossed gold lettering. It would have been displayed on the bar back behind the bar or on top of a cash register to advertise Stegmaier Beer.
