Here is a Sunshine Beer Crowntainer Can from the Barbey’s Sunshine Brewery located in Reading, PA. This Sunshine Beer Crowntainer Can is in excellent condition for it’s age with only a slight bend to the lip of the can probably caused by an aggressive opening of the can when it was drank; I’d put a date on this can sometime in the 1940’s era.
There are actually 2 variations of this Sunshine Beer Crowntainer Can; one like this one with the soft sunshine “S” and the other with a more jagged Sunshine “S” at 12 o’clock. The jagged “S” variation is the hard to find of the 2 variations. I hope to find one someday to complement the one I already have.
