Here is a Valley Forge Beer TOC Sign from the Adam Scheidt Brewing Company located in Norristown, PA.  This Valley Forge Beer TOC Sign is from the 1940’s era and is in excellent condition for it’s age.  It was made by the Donaldson Art Sign Company located in Cincinnati, OH. It is made of embossed tin wrapped around a cardboard backer, on the back there is a chain for hanging on the wall as well as a cardboard easel to display on the back back.

Signs like this Valley Forge Beer Sign were made to advertise the Scheidt’s Valley Forge Beer was now in flat top beer cans.  The can pictured in the sign was an actual production made flat top can with a PA IRTP tax stamp on the lid.  These cans would have been opened with an churchkey opener when consumed.

I’ve been told that there is actually a second variation of this Valley Forge Beer Tin-Over-Cardboard Sign.  I’m not aware of what it looks like but I am actively looking for it to add to my collection.  There is another similar Scheidt’s Beer sign variation, approximately the same size with a Rams Head Bottle on it as well and I already have that variation in my collection; click here to view that sign.
