Here is a Yuengling Button Sign from the D. G. Yuengling & Son Brewery located in Pottsville, PA. This sign is a TOC (Tin-Over-Cardboard) sign with a string hanger and a cardboard stand on the back. This sign is probably from the 1950’s to 1960’s area since it uses one of the later Yuengling logos in the graphic. This sign is in very good condition for it’s age with only a few spots on it where the paint is missing. These signs are getting harder and hard to find in good condition and rarely pop up at auctions.
I actually plan to have this sign touched up and restored back to it’s former glory by my friends at A. Ludwig Klein & Son Inc. I’m very happy to have this sign in my collection and can’t wait to see it when it comes back from my restoration guys.
