Here is a Barbeys Beer Coaster from the Peter Barbey and Son Brewery located in Reading, PA. This Barbey’s Beer Coaster is pre-prohibition era and is in excellent condition for it’s age. The graphic on this Barbey Beer Coaster is of the brewery’s insignia PBS which was the initials for Peter Barbey & Son, those initials were used in a variety of advertisement produced at the time.
The coaster is approximately 4″ wide and stamped with “Made in Germany” in the lower left corner; the edge is pressed around the outside too. And on the back of the coaster the PBS initials are printed in blue as well.
