The Vitroseal Corporation was established in 1951 located in Covington, KY. The Vitroseal Corporation began a manufacturer of radio tubes and radio parts as well as manufacturing neon advertising signs. They also had other sales, service, and distribution offices in Pittsburgh, PA and Indianapolis, IN.

The neon signs that the Vitroseal Corp. produced at the time were made of a black metal body and chrome accents usually at the top and bottom with neon glass tube displayed in the center of the sign.  This style of neon sign made them easier to move and display in a window or on a bar back display and were very eye-catching when lit against the black background a silver trim.

Vitroseal Corp. produced advertising neon signs for various companies and industries across the country including Maytag, Coca Cola, and Pepsi Cola.  They also made signs for breweries as well such as Lebanon Valley, Kaiers, Stroudt, Neuweiler, Sunshine, York, Fort Pitt, Duquesne, and Pabst just to name a few.
