Ellwood City, PA
The Beaver Enamel was a sign manufacturing company established in 1920’s located in Ellwood City, PA. They produced porcelain enamel advertising signs. For a short time, they also produced licenses plates for the automobile industry but lost the contact to a competitor called Baltimore Enamel & Novelty Company located in Baltimore, MD.

They produced outdoor directional and advertising porcelain sign for companies like Sunoco, Power Lube Motor Oil, Huskey, and Firestone just to name a few. They eventually closed and ceased operations in the mid 1930’s era due to lack of sales due to emerging competition with other sign manufacturing companies that produced similar signs.
