The Dura-Products Manufacturing Company was established by Edgar E. George in the 1940’s located in Canton, OH. Dura-Products Manufacturing Company produced glass signs, tin sign, tire displays, and porcelain enamel advertising signs coined as Durable Products and GloGlass Signs in their marketing efforts.
Dura-Products produced advertising items for companies like Coca Cola, JC Soda, RC Cola, 7UP, Fisk, Glenmore Distillery, and Pennsylvania Tires. They also produced advertising sign for breweries like Sunshine, Kaier, Fell, Philadelphia, Schmidt, Oertel, Molson, Fitger, and Kiewel just to name a few.
They eventually closed in the 1960’s due to lack of business from the growing competition of local sign making companies in the area.
