Chicago, IL
The Huber Neon Sign Company was established in the 1930’s era in Chicago, IL by two brothers by the name of John L. Huber and Harold F. Huber. Huber Neon Sign Company began as a manufacturer of large outdoor porcelain enamel and painted tin advertising signs.

These signs were often double sided and would have neon outlines or neon lettering on them and would hang outside of a business advertising the company or a specific product. Huber produced various advertising signs for industries like automotive, gas, oil, and breweries just to name a few. Huber did have a local sign manufacturer competition in Chicago, Veribrite Sign Company was one of their biggest competitors.

Huber Neon produced various beer and brewery advertising signs for breweries like Old Manhattan, King Cole, Edelweiss, Siebens, Anheuser-Busch, and Monarch just to name a few.
