The Tennessee Enamel Manufacturing Company was established in 1936 located in Nashville, TN.  The Tennessee Enamel Mfg. Co. produced TEMCO porcelain enamel sign, stove parts, table tops, and specialities. They also went by Tenn. Enamel Manufacturing Company, Tenn Enamel, and Tenn. Enamel Mfg Co and would often put these abbreviated names on the bottom of many of their signs to act as a makers mark.

Tenn. Enamel Mfg. Co. produced porcelain advertising sign for companies like Coca Cola, Standard Oil, Quaker State Motor Oil, Shell, Pan Am Gasoline, Red Crown Gasoline, and Mobil Oil just to name a few.

Tennessee Enamel Manufacturing Company eventually closed in 1946, due to lack of sales and the need for porcelain enamel products.
