Here is a Poth Beer Statue from the Poth Brewing Company located in Philadelphia, PA. This Poth Beer Statue is from the 1930’s era and is in excellent condition for it’s age. This Poth’s statue portrays a brewery worker carrying a branded “Poth’s Beer” wooden keg on his shoulder with the Poth Brewery name at the base of the statue.
This style of statue is considered a chalkware statue and is made out of painted plaster. They are very hard to find in such good condition as this since often the paint peels off and chips over time. The dimensions on this beer statue is approximately 19″ tall by 9″ wide; making it one of the larger chalk ware statues known to exist.
