Here is a Sunshine Ale Ball Tap Knob from the Barbey’s Inc. Brewery located in Reading, PA. This Sunshine Ale Ball Tap Knob is from the late 1930’s era and is in excellent condition for it’s age. This beer ball tap knob is made with a solid porcelain enamel face and a yellow lucite body.
There are actually 2 variations of this Sunshine Ale Tap Knob; one being this variation while the other looks very similar except the word “Ale” is curved at the bottom of the face and the body is black in color. This ball knob is one of the rarer variations of Sunshine ball tap knobs to find; this one as well as the other Sunshine Ale variation and Sunshine Porter Ball Tap Knob.
