Here is a Barbey’s Sunshine Ale Sign from the Barbey’s Inc. Brewery located in Reading, PA. This Barbey’s Sunshine Ale Sign is from the 1930’s era and is in very good condition for its age. This sign was made by the Leyse Aluminum Company located in Kewaunee, WI; it is approximately 11″ wide and is made of embossed aluminum. Signs like this one would have been displayed on the wall or behind the bar to advertise Barbey’s Inc. Brewery products.
There are actually 5 other variations of this sign in two different sizes all produced by Leyse Aluminum Company; all marked with the Lee-See Art Sign insignia. The others advertise different styles of brew including Beer and Cream Ale; there is also a larger Ale variation too.
