Here is a Piel Bros Beer Sign from the Piel Brothers Brewery Inc. located in Brooklyn, NY. This pre-prohibition era Piel Bros Sign dates from between 1900 and 1920 and is in very good condition considering how old it is. This Piels Beer Curved Corner Sign is approximately 16″ wide and is made of porcelain enamel over a convex metal lens. Signs like this one would have been displayed outside of a tavern usually parallel to the entrance or fixed to the corner of the building.
