Here is a Large Berkshire Ale TOC Sign from the Old Reading Brewing Company located in Reading, PA. At the time Berkshire Ale was one of the brewery’s flagship ales and was brewed from 1939 to 1969 along with Pale Reserve Beer which was brewed along the same time. This Large Berkshire Ale TOC Sign is in excellent condition for it’s age; I’d put a date on this sign around the 1940’s era.
The Old Reading Brewing Company had 2 variations of this sign made to advertise Berkshire Ale. This Large Berkshire Ale TOC Sign is the more common of the 2 variations; the other variation is smaller in size and primarily green in color instead of brown.
