Here is a Old Reading Beer Plate sign from the Old Reading Brewing Company located in Reading, PA. This Old Reading Beer Plate would have been used as a sign displayed in bars and taverns to promote Old Reading Beer rather then an actual plate. The graphics on this Old Reading Beer Plate just screams Pennsylvania Dutch with the additions of vines, hearts, and the PA Dutch bird called the distelfink.
There are actually 2 variations to this plate, one large and the other smaller. This one is the larger of the two variations. This is in excellent new-old stock condition for it’s age. I love the graphics on the sides of the plate that promote the Pennsylvania Dutch distelfink and heart patterns.
