Here is a Sunshine Beer Neon from the Sunshine Brewing Company located in Reading, PA. This Sunshine Beer Neon sign is from the 1950’s era and is in excellent condition for it’s age. Neon signs like this one would have been hung in the windows of bars and taverns to advertise Sunshine Beer and grab the attention of patrons outside the establishment.
When I got this sign it was broken in the lower right corner; after getting it fixed by my neon guy it looks better then ever! The neon is all original with the original GE (General Electric) transformer still intact. I did however make a display box for the neon to sit in out of salvaged barn wood to display both the neon glass and the vintage transformer. This is a very rare and sought after neon sign and I am happy to have it in my collection.
