Here is a ABC Brand Beer Tray from the American Brewing Company located in St. Louis, MO. This ABC Beer Tray is from between 1901 to 1906 and is in excellent condition for it’s age.
This ABC Brand Beer Tray was made by the H. D. Beach Company located in Coshocton, OH. This Beach Company Tray is approximately 16″ by 14″ and made of lithographed tin; and there is a lot graphically going on in the lithography scene of this tray!
The graphics on this American Brewing Beer Tray portray a young greek woman in a white robe holding a scroll that reads “ABC Beer Famous in the Commerce of the World”; she is standing upon a greek stylized platform with stone pillars in the background. There is also a stone pedestal with the insignia of the American Brewery with a labeled bottle of beer on top with two cherubs holding a crown above the bottle, and in the background is a factory scene of the American Brewery.
The scene on this tray was also used on a large rectangular tin sign as well. I am actively looking for that sign to add to my collection.
