Here is a Esslingers Repeal Beer Coaster from the Esslinger Inc. Brewery located in Philadelphia, PA. This Esslingers Repeal Beer Coaster is from 1933 and is in excellent condition for it’s age.
The graphics on this Esslinger Beer Coaster is of four Esslinger “Kin Pin” characters celebrating the end of prohibition. The text on this coaster reads “Esslinger’s Repeal Leads Them All” and “Esslinger’s On Draught – In Bottles”. The reference to “Repeal Beer” was used a lot in the Esslinger Brewery’s advertising plan during the 1930’s era including signs, bottle labels, coasters, and statues just to name a few. It is also approximately 4″ wide and made of very thick pulp cardboard.
