Here is a Kaier’s Beer Lighted Sign from the Kaier Brewing Company located in Mahanoy City, PA. This Kaiers Beer Sign is from the 1930’s era and is in fair condition for its age. The graphics on this sign is the Kaier Brewery lettered logo with the tagline “Union Made” which was used in a lot of the Kaier Brewery advertising at the time.
This Kaier Beer sign was made by the Brunhoff Manufacturing Company located in Cincinnati, OH. This Kaier’s Beer Lighted Sign is approximate 18″ X 8″ and is made a thick piece of embossed reverse-painted glass mounted in a backlit metal body with chrome trim and a kickstand display leg mounted on the back. The original reverse-painted glass colors were white, red, green, and yellow with a dark blue or black outline around all the lettering.
As far as the condition on this Kaier’s Lighted Sign goes; the reverse paint has peeled off considerable and the trim around the front of this Kaier Beer Sign would have been chrome. I do plan to have this sign professionally restored and brought back to its former displayable glory in the near future. Check back soon to see when it’s finished.
