Here is an Old Reading Vargas Pin-up Sign from the Old Reading Brewing Company located in Reading, PA. This Old Reading Vargas Pin-up Sign is from the 1950s era and is in excellent condition for its age.
It is approximately 10″ by 16″ and made of cardboard. The graphics on this sign is part of a “Sugar-Free” Beer ad campaign that the Old Reading Brewery produced during 1954.
Vargas used 3 different models for this brewery pin-up project to be used on 4 large cardboard signs, 4 bottle toppers, printed ads, and a series of billboards. These Old Reading Beer Vargas Pin-Ups had taglines like “Sugar-Free” and “Proven By Test, One of America’s Best” also complimented the sexy pin-ups.
