Here is an Orange Sunshine Beer Sign from the Sunshine Brewing Company located in Reading, PA. This Pink Sunshine Beer Sign is from the 1950’s era and is in very good condition for it’s age. It is made of transparent pink plastic with painted lettering. The tagline under the words “Sunshine Beer” reads “It’s Extra Light… It’s Extra Good”; that tagline was used in a lot of signs and ads from the brewery at the time. Bars and distributors would have used signs like these on the bar tops, bar backs, and counters to advertise and promote Sunshine Beer.
There are actually 2 variations of these Sunshine Beer Sign; both look very similar to each other. The difference is the small text under the words “Sunshine Beer” is slightly different. Over time with age they can appear orange in color too.
