Here is a Rolling Rock Premium Beer Sign from the Latrobe Brewing Company located in Latrobe, PA.  This sign is from the 1940’s era and is in excellent condition for it’s age.

This sign was made by the Kirby-Coggeshall-Steinau Company located in Milwaukee, WI. The sign is approximately 13″ wide and is made of a painted composite material. The graphics on this sign is of the flagship beer that the Latrobe brewery produced at the time known as “Rolling Rock Premium Beer” and the horse’s head logo with text that reads “A Little Nip in Pony Bottles” which was a tagline that the Latrobe Brewery used from the late 1930’s up until the 1950’s.

I believe the sign would have originally been mounted on a thin wooden base.  Signs like these would have been displayed as a bar back sign in a tavern or distributor to advertise Rolling Rock beer to patrons.
