This sign was made by the Bastian Brothers Company sign company located in Rochester, NY. It is approximately 15″ wide and is made of celluloid wrapped over embossed tin on a cardboard backer. This style of Bastian Brother sign is known as a Prismatic sign. Signs like these would have been hung on the walls inside of taverns or distributors to advertise Stroh’s Beer to patrons.
