Here is a Texas Punch Soda Sign from the Reading Bottling Works located in Reading, PA. This sign is from the 1930s era and is in excellent condition considering how old it is. It is approximately 10″ by 4″ and is made of lithographed metal. The graphics on this sign depict their enamel-printed green bottle with the tagline “Hello! You’ll Love It Texas Punch”.
This style of sign is known as a “Door Push” Sign and would have been displayed on the doors of malt shops, soda shops, general stores, bars, and restaurants to advertise Texas Punch soda to patrons. There is also a large metal advertising sign that matches this door push as well. I am actively looking for the sign to add to my collection; please contact me if you have one.
