Here is a Yocum Brothers Cigar Cutter from the Yocum Bros. Cigar Marker located in Reading, PA. This Yocum Brothers Cigar Cutter is from the early 1900’s era and in in very good condition for it’s age. The graphic plate on this cigar cutter is of the cigar companies logo “Y. B.” and is followed with the text that reads “Yocum Bros. Makers Reading, PA”.
This Yocum Brothers Cigar Cutter was made by the Brunhoff Manufacturing Company located in Cincinnati, OH. The detail and craftsmanship of this Brunhoff Cigar Cutter really remarkable. The cigar cap and would be placed in the small hole at the end of the stem, then posted down and a blade would cut the cap off, and the cap would fall into a reservoir to be emptied later. The base of this cigar cutter looks as though it doubled as an ashtray as well.
