Here is a Excelsior Quality Beverages Sign from the Excelsior Bottling Company located in Reading, PA. This sign is from the 1920’s era and is in very good condition for it’s age.
The sign is approximately 13″ wide and made of double-sided painted metal. This sign would have originally been displayed on the top of a metal bottle rack inside of a general store. The graphics on this sign display the bottling company’s initials and eagle insignia along with the text that reads “Excelsior Quality Beverages”, “Since 1886”, and “Delicious Drinks & Mixers”. During the time, Excelsior Bottling produced carbonated sodas and mixers as well as ales and porters too.
