Here is a Malt City Beer Ball Knob from the Riverview Brewing Company located in Manitowoc, WI. This Malt City Beer Ball Tap Knob is from between 1933 – 1937 era and is in excellent condition for it’s age. Malt City Beer was a flagship beer that the Riverview Brewery produced in the early 1930’s.
This Riverview Brewing Company knob was made by the Green Duck Company located in Chicago, IL. This Malt City Tap Knob is made of a cobalt blue porcelain enamel face mounted on a black bakelite body. On the back stem of the knob, the maker’s mark can be seen and reads “Green Duck Company Chicago”.
There is a red variation of this knob with a curved brass face on it and made by the Dakaware Company; I am actively looking for that variation to add to my beer ball tap knob collection; please contact me if you have one.
