The Altes Beer Sign was made by the Price Brothers Inc. sign company located in Chicago, IL. It is approximately 10″ wide and made of green mirrored glass mounted to a metal and wooden base. Signs like this one would have been displayed on the top of a cash register or as a bar back display behind the bar or counter of a tavern or distributor.
