This sign was made by the Donaldson Art Sign Company located in Covington, NY; it is approximately 14″ wide and is made of embossed tin wrapped over a cardboard backer. Signs like this one would have been displayed on the walls of a tavern to advertise Centlivre Beer to patrons. Nickel Plate Beer was one of the flagship products that the Centlivre Brewery produced between 1933 to 1950.
