Here is a Stegmaier Beer Neon Sign from the Stegmaier Brewing Company located in Wilkes-Barre, PA. This Stegmaier Neon Sign is from the 1930’s era and is in excellent condition for it’s age.
This sign was made by the Colonial Neon Co. Inc. located in North Bergen, NJ. It is approximately 20″ wide and is neon lettered and mounted on a metal body with die-cut letters. Signs like this one would have originally been display as a bar back sign behind the bar or inside of a half window to advertise Stegmaier Beer to patrons. There is a second slight variation of this sign, the differnce being the painted text that reads “Gold Metal Beer” is painted in gold.
