Here is a Valley Forge Beer Composite Sign from the Adam Scheidt Brewing Company located in Norristown, PA.  This Valley Forge Beer Sign from the 1940’s era and is in excellent condition considering how old it is.

There isn’t a makers mark or label on the back of the sign but we assume it was made by the Kirby Coggeshall Steinau Company located in Milwaukee, WI.  It is approximately 10″ wide and is made of a composite material and would have been originally displayed on the wall of a tavern. Composite signs like this were very popular at the time in the mid 1940s due to the metal shortages During World War II.

There are other variations of these Kirby Coggeshall Steinau composite beer sign; click here to view another variation from our collection.  We are actively looking for any of the others to add to my collection; please contact us if you have either and are interested in selling them.
