Here is a Augustiner Bottled Beer Sign from the Mt. Penn Brewing Company located in Reading, PA. This Augustiner Bottled Beer Sign is pre-prohibition era and is in excellent condition for it’s age. Although, originally this sign would have had 4 curved and rolled edges on all 4 sides but them seem to have been cut off at some point in it’s life.
This Augustiner Beer Sign is approximately 12″ X 12″ and is made of tin. The graphics on this sign is of a stock scene of a stag with the gold lettering that reads “Augustiner Bottled Beer”. Signs like this one would have been displayed on the walls of taverns and distributors to advertise the Mount Penn Brewery’s Augustiner Beer.
