Here is a Ballantine Ale Lighted Sign from the Ballantine Brewing Company located in Newark, NJ. This Ballantine Ale Lighted Sign is from the 1940’s era and is in excellent condition for it’s age.
This Ballantine Sign was made by the Ohio Advertising Display Company located in Cincinnati, OH; this style of sign is known as a Fireball Streamliner model. It is approximately 24″ wide and is made of a reverse-painted glass face mounted in a backlit metal body. When lit the sign gives off a neon green glow which is very eye catching. There are actually 2 variations of this light both with similar graphics, the only difference is the other reads “Ballantine Ale & Beer”.
